Food Sampling:

Gordon orders a meatball sandwich, chicken scarpello, and extra large colossal pizza. Server Colleen tells Gordon that meatballs are from a vendor. The first dish arrives, meatballs are microwaved and flavorless. Pizza is a big mess, with loads of frozen and canned toppings. That last dish has the chicken that is turning. Gordon asks Colleen to check if the chicken is fresh. Jeff and Jim do not have any idea about the age of chicken. After the food sampling, Gordon tells the twin brothers that food suck. He also shows them the back of all tables, which is infested with stale gum. He asks them to clean the restaurant before the dinner service.

At the dinner service, Gordon finds more filth in the kitchen. He finds a warm bucket of sauce inside the refrigerator, which they just cook. Gordon inspects the refrigerator and finds most of the veggies and items rotten. Customers are not liking the food and Jeff cannot take it. He walks out of the kitchen, Gordon follows him and asks him to work harder to mend the mistakes.

Gordon notices that chicken is not being defrosted safely. A heated argument breaks out between Jim and Gordon. Gordon asks Jim to take it off the menu, Angry Jim announces it to the diners. Few tables walk out after the announcement. Pizza chef Darian is happy with twin’s situation and thinks that they deserve it. Gordon sums up the dinner service as lazy and asks them to clean the kitchen. Jim is disgusted with the state of the kitchen and he cries while cleaning the kitchen.

When the twins are away, Gordon decides to open the restaurant for the lunch. With the help of server Colleen and pizza chef Darian, Gordon opens the restaurant for the lunch. Jeff and Jim arrive at the restaurant, they see a full dining room. Gordon makes them sit and serve them some food. Gordon tells them that they have made $300 during the lunch service. Jeff and Jim realize that they are taking it too easy. There is money in the lunch service and it would boost the revenues.

Gordon takes Jeff and Jim to a local boxing ring. He asks Jim to don gloves and tells him what is holding Jim back. Jim breaks down and tells Gordon that he is a failure. Gordon tells him that he needs to work hard and adapt to new changes. Gordon asks Jeff and Jim for a quick round of boxing, they promise each other to work together. Back at the restaurant, Gordon shows them how to make delicious meatballs. Jim and Jeff like the meatballs. Gordon makes Jim scream about homemade meatballs in the street.
