The fourth episode of season 4 is dedicated to revisits to the restaurants that Gordon Ramsay saved in the second and third seasons. Roughly after one year of the relaunch, Gordon covers 3 restaurants in this revisit episode:

  2. The Junction (Flamango’s), Whitehouse Station, NJ
  3. Bazzini, Ridgewood, NJ

1. Mojito, Brooklyn, NY revisited:

Gordon enters the restaurant and meets Kata. Kata is happy to see Gordon. Kata tells Gordon that business is up by 30%. Gordon asks about the professional relationship between her and Marcelo. She tells Gordon that they are relaxed now and respect each other’s work.

Gordon goes to the kitchen and meets Marcelo. Marcelo tells Gordon that his relation with Hota has improved. Kata lets him do his work and now he is working with a calm head. Marcelo tells Gordon that profits are growing and purchases are in control. Gordon visits the storage with Marcelo. He finds everything labeled and cleanly wrapped.

Back in the dining area, Gordon meets Kata’s mother. Kata tells Gordon that if there is something that she and Marcelo disagree on, her mom resolves the argument. Marcelo brings in food for Gordon and Gordon likes the food. Kata tells Gordon that they are learning the debt in next 6 months. Gordon asks them to give their relationship one other chance. Kata tells Gordon that they did try it but they both have different lifestyles now. Kata and Marcelo share their best and worst moments from the relaunch. Gordon is happy with their turnaround as a team and wishes them luck.

Gordon enters the restaurant and meets Cheryl at the reception. Cheryl is happy to see Gordon. Gordon asks Cheryl is she is married now, her response is negative. She tells Gordon that she is still living with her parents, but, is on verge of moving out. Gordon goes into the kitchen to meet Adele.

Adele is surprised to see Gordon there. She tells Gordon that business is good. The transition from high-end restaurant to more affordable eatery is definitely different, she adds. The old chef is now working in a bagel shop and Adele is busy baking. Gordon asks her if there is any change in her attitude towards employees. Isabel, a staff member, tells Gordon that Adele is a lot better than earlier.

Gordon sits down with Adele, Bill and Cheryl to talk more about the journey so far. Cheryl tells Gordon that if it was Flamango’s, they were not in a position to keep it running. They thank Gordon for his help in steering them in the right direction. They share their best and worst moments from the relaunch. Gordon eats a burger and steak, he likes the food very much. Before leaving, Gordon presents them with a surprise gift, an alligator “Willie the Junior”. Gordon is happy for their success and wishes them good luck for the future.

3. Bazzini, Ridgewood, NJ Revisited:

Gordon arrives at the restaurant and finds it closed for the lunch service. He calls the pastry chef Sharyn. Sharyn tells Gordon that the restaurant has closed for good. Gordon meets Sharyn at her home, she is baking. She tells Gordon that Bazzini did not start the lunch service after the relaunch. One day she got a bit late and there was a huge fight due to that and she left.

Gordon asks her to share her best and worst moments from the relaunch. Gordon tastes some baked stuff and likes it. He wishes Sharyn for her baking career and leaves.
